Presently the food bank is run 100% by a team of about 10 volunteers. There are many tasks involved in this ministry which could be served well by more joining in. Jobs include setting up tables, chairs, setting out the donated food and clothing items, giving out ticket numbers for an orderly distribution system of items inside the building, on-site cooking of hot dogs and hamburgers, cleaning up and putting everything away afterwards and the collecting donations from the many generous businesses from Issaquah to North Bend.
All are welcome and encouraged to show up from 1:00-4:00pm on Thursdays under the bridge to join in this social hour and offer friendship and conversation. (Feel free to bring a crockpot of stew as well!) In the summertime remember this ministry when your garden produces in excess of your own needs.
Pray for this ministry to meet the needs of the community as God directs for an abundance of food, baby needs, clothing, friendship and God’s love.
If you’d like to donate, please make checks out to Raging River Community Church and include a note that the funds are for the food bank. Thank you.

Hello to everyone at Raging River!
