What can I expect?

Worship

Our services include praising God through music and prayer, as well as a Biblically inspired message from Pastor Roy Peacock. Our goal is to make Jesus center stage not only in our service but in our lives and the lives of those around us. Our small congregation is welcoming and supportive of all our guests and we hope to meet you soon. Join us at 10:30 Sunday morning for worship. Then stick around after the service for a time of refreshments and fellowship. Due to Covid safety measures, the refreshment times have been paused.

What about my children?

ChildrenChildren sing praises with us during the service. And after our weekly announcements, ages 3-10 join together with a few adult leaders for Junior Church. All the kids will enjoy being a part of our regular skits, puppet shows, and children’s choir performances, practicing their parts before splitting into age groups. Then they will have their own message built specially for their age group. The younger kids will enjoy Arts & Crafts and other activities as they learn about the Bible. Meanwhile, the older kids take part in a more structured Bible study. Due to Covid safety measures, Junior Church has been paused.

And my toddler or infant?

BabiesWe have a nursery complete with diapers, blankets, crib, toddler toys, and rocking chair. We encourage new parents to allow our dedicated nursery staff to care for your children (ages 0-3) so that you can fully experience our worship service.

Is there something for my preteen or teenager?

YouthOn Wednesday evenings, the Underground Church Youth Group meets at the church. This is lead by our Youth Leaders Laurene & Noah Foreman. They will be worshiping through song, connecting with each other in games and competitions, and of course studying the Bible and learning more about what God plans for their lives. The Underground church also attends occasional concerts and conferences designed to further minister to our youth.

Also for the 2020-2021 school year, there will be monthly movie nights.

During our regular worship on Sunday at 10:30, we believe that most kids in 6th grade and above are mature enough to  be able to understand and grasp meaning from the sermon.
